Now, lets move on to the Singapore Grand Prix:]
First of all, the weather been go the past few days where there’s no rain during the match, which was good for the driver(since they’re afraid of the reflection prob), and the audience(no need to get soaked).
Day 1, Friday: Practise laps..
Mainly soft tyres were used. Sparks were seen coming out from the racing cars, many with over heated wheels(smoke rising from their wheels), and some that came so close to the wall as if it touches the wall. Ferrari took a wrong turn to a dead end, but I’m amazed by how he got out from it. A 180 degree turn. This was only the first day, and when we thought the day would just end like that. Nope, at around 11pm, a crash was seen onto the wall. Gone a front wing from this white car.
Day 2, Saturday: Qualifying matches..
Not sure if the same car, but should was white again, where it hit hard on the wall, and gone the front wing. Also got angry driver walking off when having engine problem(yellow car). Didn’t expect to be able to see pit stop tonight. Oh well, guess they were rushing to get the car going again between the qualifying rounds. Oh, ferrari got in the first and third position to start off on the track tomorrow, f massa first, k raikkonen third. Meanwhile, L Hamilton second on the starting line.
Day 3, Sunday: Championship race..
Finally got to see the drivers’ face as they start their preparation. So that’s L Hamilton, where I’ve seen him on the grand prix story before.
So the race started with 19 cars on track. Hamilton on the tail of Massa, on a hot pursuit, while Raikkonen maintaining his third position.
Major crash occurred for a yellow car at lap 15, where half piquet’s car was gone. He managed to walk out unharmed though. So this was the first time we saw the safety cars came in, which took the cars for a few round of laps before the track was giving a green light. But before that, a slight accident occurred in the ferrari’s pit stop. Massa drove off upon given green light from his teammate, however, with the refueling hose still attached. So it ripped the whole hose out of the refueling thingy, where he came to a stop at a distance away. I was surprised that no one chase after him to remedy the problem, which costed him his first position having to wait there like an idiot like for 2 minutes so more. Moreover, the hose was kind of struck, hence ended up in the last position. Felt unfair for him when he had to undergo penalty for that mistake which couldn’t be his fault. Ya, those judges don’t even care what really happened there, but just classified it as safety penalty. Wth.
Some time later, Webber retired his blue car, which seemed to have mechanical problem, or so they said. And it’s down to 17 cars in the race, where a similar accident nearly occurred once again in the pit stop for another team. Well, it didn’t.
Lap 51, another crush occurred. Seemed that ferrari lose control before that and tried to recover. However, that white car came in at that moment, to avoid a collision in that narrow road but ended up into that wall. Small fire break off instantly. There goes the safety cars again, with their second appearance on the track. By the time green light was once again, only about 7 laps remain.
4 more laps to the finishing line, Raikkonen had a crash onto the wall. Very disappointing day from the ferrari team. Not only lose first and third position, but also lose a car. –Bad Mood- :s I guess there goes my favourite team, or perhaps that’s the only team that’s famous? Also because it’s red!
The result for the race:
First: F Alonso Second: N Rosberg Third: L Hamilton
As for ferrari, massa in 13th position. Bad day for him too.
With this result, Alonso earned ten points for his team, and his team(mclaren mercedes) managed to defeat ferrari by one point and stay in the lead.
Ended with our PM given out the first prize to Alonso. Then was the usual spraying of champagnes.
It’s good being able to watch F1 race full telecast, and some more it’s live!

Next we would be waiting for next year grand prix in Singapore. If nothing changes, would be between 25 to 27 september. :]
Lastly, my ippt training starts today, two sessions per week, three hours per session. And yup, I'm gonna clear it within october, though the likelihood of a pass is very slim.. Oh well..
